Rolls-Royce

Rolls-Royce Limited was a British car and, from 1914, aero-engine manufacturing company founded by Henry Royce and Charles Stewart Rolls on 15 March 1906 and was the result of a partnership formed in 1904. In 1971, Rolls-Royce was crippled by the development of the advanced RB211 jet engine, resulting in the nationalisation of the company. In 1973, the car division was separated from Rolls-Royce Limited as Rolls-Royce Motors. Rolls-Royce Limited continued as a nationalised company until it was privatised in 1987 as Rolls-Royce plc.

Rover

The Rover Company was a British car manufacturing company originally founded as Starley & Sutton Co. of Coventry in 1878. After developing the template for the modern bicycle with its Rover Safety Bicycle of 1885, the company moved into the automotive industry. It started building motorcycles and Rover cars, using their established marque with the iconic Viking Longship, from 1904 onwards. Land Rover vehicles were added from 1947 onwards, with all production based in Solihull after moving to these premises after World War II. Later on, Rover cars were also produced in Cowley.

Ruf Automobile GmbH is a German automobile manufacturer. Rufs are built from unmarked Porsche bodies and chassis. When a chassis arrives, Ruf builds their own independent work into the car. Because Ruf installs many of their own-made parts, the company is recognized as a manufacturer by the German government. RUF is mostly known for their CTR Yellowbird. RUF is the biggest company to make Porsche tune-ups, their main rival is Gemballa from Leonberg, Germany.
