I’m thinking about buying a gas engine scooter to get around my large college campus and be able to drive around town on the roads also. Any suggestions? I know nothing about scooters, but want to get a reliable, yet not crazy expensive scooter

I drive a Yamaha BW’s. Currently at 6000 km and I never had a single problem. :) The MSRP is under 3000$ (Here in Canada, probably is even lower in the US)

I recommend the Genuine Buddy 125cc from the Genuine Scooter Company (an america based corporation). I haven’t heard any thing bad about this company and their prices are not that ridiculous. Not to mention it is american made, so you know you’ll be getting a quality scooter.
(the Buddy won scooter of the year in 2007)
