Unbolt the tank, open the gas cap, and slowly tip it into a bucket, then in a certified container if you cant to keep it.
(im not kidding when i say this) its called syphoning , you take a hollow tube, put one end of it in the tank, put one end in your mout and suck the air out of the tube for a little more than one second..once you see the gas coming through the tube, stop sucking (you probably dont want to drink it) the pressure from you sucking will keep on going as long as gravity is helping…google it. trust me! it works! if you get a little gas in your mouth to start dont worry just spit it out and rinse! its happened to me many times. google syphoning. they do it in many mechanic shops
shut your petcock off, remove gas line at the carb, remove gas cap, put gas line in an approved container then just open petcock. i have no idea why people say to remove the tank. inexperience i guess,,or just guessing.
Pull the gas line off the carb (the line that runs between the petcock and the carb. Most likely will have a hose clamp to loosen first).
Stick end into a gas can.
Turn on petcock.
Remove gas cap might help it empty faster.
After draining as much as possible, remove tank and turn so remaining gas flows out filler cap.
turn ur petrol off at the tap assuming u have one and then pull the pipe off going into the carb put the end into a jerry can and turn the tap back on and away u go
Remove gas inlet line at carb,put gas line into gas can,loosen gas cap,turn fuel valve to RESERVE,should drain all the gas in the tank.Oh yeah, lean bike towards fuel valve side!
