Everyone hates on US & British cars lol…. but they usually are the worst anyway so. The Japanese make the best cars. I suppose it’s preference and many Ford cars are really not that fantastic.
People hate Ford because in the 80’s american car companies decided to make cars that were reliable but didn’t last more than 150,000 miles or so. i believe they did that because of business marketing tactics. they figured that in the end they would sell more cars and come out on the top, the plan back fired when japanese car companies didn’t follow the trend. then the problem was that they lost consumers trust. Ford has spent years trying to gain back that trust and have built the best cars in the market, but still haven’t been able to bring a lot of customers back. people now buy cars like toyota because they think toyota lasts longer but little do they know that japanese cars don’t compare to american in quality now. Ford has been making cars longer than anyone, they know what they are doing.
It’s called brainwashing.. or brainsoaking. The media, for whatever reason ($$$$) has bombarded us with ideas that Asian built cars are superior..particularly Toyota. When was the last time you read an automotive journalist really rave about an American car?. People,and particularly Toyota owners truly believe their vehicle are superior, but compared to what.. their previous car maybe… the reverse could well apply I don’t think any reasonable person would disagree that a new Ford Fusion is “better”than a 10 year old Camry..

because its american and american cars have gone downhill over the past 10 years and the japanese cars have gotten a lot better
Unfortunately Ford has made some mistakes in the past that has haunted them, but Fords new products are great.
