I plan to get a Pontiac Fiero and I plan to upgrade it it to. I will try to provide details if anyone needs them.
I am also willing to get a dash cover to fit a double DIN device.
Also, I plan to install this into it http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3/pg/product/details/0,,2076_310069681_369264980,00.html and if there is any way to put in the dash without converting to double DIN than thats fine too.

Go online and check Crutchfield.com. You can also try JCWhitney.com in chicago. If it’s out there, one of them should have it.

Nowhere. They don’t exist. Why? Because the Fiero radio cavity wasn’t Double-DIN height. How can a kit possibly increase the size of the opening in the dash?

You’d have to cut and customize, assuming you have the room.

A 1987 Toyota MR2 I once did for sound competitions had only a single-DIN opening, but we managed to fit two and a half DINs into it (Cassette/Tuner, CD player, and 1/2-DIN EQ). This was done by removing the ash tray below the radio, purchasing an additional radio bezel from a dealer, cutting off the bottom of the original and the top of the new bezel, bonding them together and covering them in leather.

    A lot of work.
