A blanket, jumper cables, a bottle of every fluid it might need, a plug-in air compressor, a small tool kit.
condoms, water, knife
a blanket pillow and if you are in the north i would keep extra clothes such as jacket gloves etc.
baseball bat for road rage.
frisbee for impromptu frisbee playing
I keep tampax, perfume, hand lotion, tissues, hairbrush, pen and paper, and some make-up like eyeliner and lipgloss
i just recently was given my first car as well. i normally have a bottle of water somewhere in the car, my gps navigation, and about $300 in gift cards to various, stores, restuarants, and gas stations. (i live in a very populated area, and therefore am not worried about the possibility of becoming stranded)
add peanut butter and crackers and 2 spoons.bag with tooth paste and brush, anything else you need for an unexpected nite away from home like a nightgown and change of underwear. i also always carry a towel, swim suit and beach shoes. widex for something getting on the windows and paper towels.
iI have a small first aid kit, a roll of paper towels, flashlight, extra fuses, fire extenguisher, pen and note pad,small bottle of window cleaner. In winter time I carry a gallon of windshield washer fluid,a can of spray deicer for windows, blanket, winter survival kit. .
