It depends ENTIRELY on your driving conditions and climate. There is not one correct answer. Do you live in Florida? Alaska? Italy? Switzerland? Do you drive it every day or only a few times a year?

Do you have an owner’s manual? It should offer very good guidance, and most Japanese cars have the middle-of-the-road safe oil rating written right on the oil filler cap.

you guessed right. different oils for you car change throughout the year. in the winter you want 5w-30 and in summer when its hotter you want 10w-30. the “W” stands for winter lower the temp lower the number. when it comes to what type of oil, the best oil out there is “valvoline full synthetic”. you also have the choice for “full synthetic high milage” for vehicles over 75000 miles.

    5W-30.

You can find the info in Specification section of the car’s manual.

5W-30 is recommended for all temperatures in your Camry. 10W-30 may also be used in warmer temperatures.
