I have an evenflo carseat it’s good for 35 lbs rear facing and 50 forward facing. I love it and so does my son he’s very comfortable in it and that’s what matters most. It’s got a red knob to tighten the straps instead of the pull strap. And the best part is that it’s very easy to clean whichh is awesome.
We have an Evenflo Triumph Advance DLX. It RF to 35 lbs, FF to 50 lbs. My 27 month old, 30 lb, 35″ daughter just turned forward a few weeks ago because she was getting to tall for the shell.
The only one I know of with a significantly taller shell is the Recaro Signo. It runs close to $300, and is hard to find anywhere but online. It still has a weight limit of 35 lbs, but will hold a taller child. I am considering getting one so that I can turn my daughter back around.
i have an eddie bauer car seat that rear faces until 35 pounds and booster to 80 pounds

There are plenty. I prefer ones like mine (Britax Marathon) that rear-face to 35 lbs and THEN forward face to 65 or so. It’s just such a money saver!
britax; and their marathon and boulevard models forward face to 65lbs…
