Toyota has also made very good quality products for quite a while. That being said, I believe that the average cost of the same repair to each of these would be almost identical. I would tell you to go with the one that makes you happy. Both will last a long time if properly maintained and both will provide many years of fun and adventure. Subaru’s awd system is incredible, so if you are somewhere that has rough winters, I’d go with the Subaru, otherwise, I personally like the look and feel of the RAV4. Hope that helps.
