need help with my fiat brava dials have stopped working?

help went over a bump and my speedo,petrol and heater gauges all stopped working,have been told it could be a broken or loose wire in the steering,problem is i havent got the code card for this car.i’ve always had fords and i havent had this car long anyone got any idea’s apart from the dials not working the car is fine,i use this car for work so it is a problem just taking it to a garage anyway i cant afford to spend lots on it either,it is a 1.4 sx r reg 1997.
