How much money have you got?
not sure about your vehicle but I had to do the same thing to my 2000 Rodeo and it was right at 6000.00.
Call around. You’d be suprised at how much the prices will vary in your area. Especially some of the out of the way places. Used is definitely cheaper, but then there is the warranty. It all depends on your situation. A buddy of mind just had an engine replaced in a 95 Blazer and it cost him 800 for a used engine with 89k miles on it. I was impressed with that price, but definitely call around and ask around. Good references are important so you don’t get scammed either.
