starting price for a good job is about 1200 bucks right now,and it going on up ,paint and supplies are at an all time high and its not getting any cheaper, for a gallon of real good paint your looking at about 5-600 bucks for chameleon paint like your talking about try about 1000-1200 bucks for a gallon,so the cost can rise really fast and changing colors can add another extra 500 to the cost, all together you can spend an easy 3-5 thousand on a pint job,im telling you the truth its expensive,if you stay with the original color its a lot cheaper, good luck with it have some shops price this out, you,ll be surprised of what they,ll tell you, good luck and have a good new years.

Paint is getting expensive! The only way to get around that is to do the work yourself but even that isnt easy. Unless you know what you’re doing dont do it yourself! You definitely get what you pay for though…if you pay 500$ it may look ok but you got $500 worth of paint…that doesnt even count for craftsmanship (what makes that paint job look good)

pay more…its worth it in the long run

All these prices are way too low. You cant buy the materials and do it yourself for $500.00. A professional looking job would include disassembling all doors, moldings, grills, and other trim as to not leave tape lines or edges that may later peel or chip away. A professional looking job will cost a few thousand to paint the entire car. It also cost more if you are changing from the existing color rather than than just repainting the same color. Most pearl colors do cost more than the standard paint. Just remember, you are only going to get what you paid for
