coming from a background of imports and cars such as the sti and the evo. this is not that many miles for this car. looking at past cars made by japan ex. honda, mitsubishi, subaru all hold miles very well. this also depends on the up keep and matinence you put in the car. if your like people i am with and me we put alot of money into cars to make alot of power which will get you less life. but if this is a daily driver this is low miles and would be a nice car to drive. it is awd 4 door turbo so ur gonna make good whp and nice for people to ride in…good buy to me
Sounds like reasonable mileage but try to get it checked out by a good mechanic first. Most of the STI’ s get driven quite hard and need premium lubricants and stringent maintenance to survive happily. Past driving style and maintenance dictates how long this car will last. Also check the tires, the hot rod Subaru’s are very sensitive to having exactly the same diameter so one shot tire usually means a whole new set. Fun car, I almost bought one last year.
i just got rid of my sti and it had 68thousand. it was an 04 with lots of mods and i drove it reaaaaaaly hard. it was still holding up awesome when i sold it… bought it with 18k i put 50k hard miles on it and it still ran like a dream bro get the car its awesome
If you take care of your cars engine and transmission properly, then you’ll be good for about 225,000 miles like my first Subaru was. The only reason I still don’t have it is because it got killed by an idiot driving a Dodge Ram talking on a cell phone! I hate cell phones!
