three inches will probably need extension on everything in the cab, let the pros do it
If you have never done one before, take it to a pro. Park brake cable needs to be re-routed, Brake lines lengthened if 4X4 floor shift lever needs extension. Will need stronger alternator to power electric fans because fan shroud will no longer fit the engine compartment, You may need different top radiator hose because of interference by idler pulley the wiring harness will stretch far enough with 3′ and do not forget the bumper adapters for proper look. The bed is the easy part
