What’s a small difference in horsepower got to do with anything unless they are race cars. The SLK overall is MUCH better, no doubt. Think about the luxury, handling, reliability etc involved.
The SC 400 is just a little bit faster than the SLK, but it’s all about the year difference, the SLK has 2009 technology with all the luxury and stuff. When it comes to speed the SC 400 has it but when it comes to updates and luxury the SLK has that. When the 1992 SC 400 first came out back in it’s day it was pretty much around the cost of how much the SLK is worth right now
The Lexus is more reliable, rarer, and has a higher resale value so it is better.
The SLK is faster. It is lighter and has a better power to weight ratio. The SLK also handles better because of its lighter weight and smaller size.
As in luxury, they are the same.
