Will hooking up a fuel pump that originally requires a 30amp to a 15amp cause under powering?

and the result will be-thats right all you bugel blowers blown fuses

    Eric T says:

If the circuit requires 30 amps and you put in only a 15 amp fuse, the fuse will get hot and blow. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow. Maybe right away. When it blows, you may be on the highway and cause damage to the motor from a free-wheeling motor, or strand you somewhere.

Too small of amperage on a circuit causes heat. Heat blows fuses

    Pilsner Man says:

It won’t cause underpowering, as much as it will cause the fuse to blow.

Fuses don’t protect the fuel pump or whatever they are connected to, they are there to protect the wiring from burning.

A 15A. ’slow blow’ just might hold a motor that would ordinarily
require a 30 A. ‘quick’ fuse, … but no guarantees.
Most likely you’ll just blow the fuse.
